Microsoft Office Applications

Parent Testimonials

I asked my daughter for a list of priorities and some time management plans and expected something scribbled out. Instead she sent me a well laid out spreadsheet, organized and detailed. It is great she has become comfortable enough to actually use what she has learned.    Morrison, Ohio

My son is really enjoying MS Office Apps. I. The book is very thorough and Mr. Madison works through it at a very doable pace. The homework load is not overwhelming. I would recommend this class to all homeschool students.    Wendy, Michigan

My daughter has learned so much this year from the . . . MS Office Apps 1 Class. I often ask her to set up documents for myself or my other children. She is able to do more things than I can now on the computer . . . scary, but good.    Leisa, New York

My son Tyler has MS Apps I with Bob Madison this year. His administrative skills have improved dramatically. On a few occasions, I have asked Tyler to help me with presentations I have had to give at work. I was amazed at Tyler’s fluency in the MS Office products. I am very excited to see that Tyler has this strong foundation prior to going away to college; having this skill set will give Tyler the ability to communicate in various applications fully leveraging the benefits MS Office has to offer. Ultimately, it will facilitate Tyler having a polished look on all of his assigned projects. Thanks, Bob, for your hard work…we are looking forward to taking MS Apps II.    Cal, Kentucky

Mr. Madison is a great caring teacher. My son is taking his second year with him. He takes the time to make sure the students are understanding. He even called my son after class one day realizing he wasn't understanding a portion and spent a good deal of time on the phone clarifying the information. My son enjoys and looks forward to his class every week.     Donata, Washington

My daughter has taken both MS Office Apps I and II. She has become not only more comfortable with her computer and its operating systems but also more confident about tackling new unfamiliar software. These classes gave her the confidence to try her hand at Robotics programming, a subject she had never explored before. She has been able to teach her mother how to use her MS Office more efficiently and has helped her older sister with college applications using the skills she gained in her classes. We both believe the knowledge she's aquired will be to her advantage in college and perhaps give her the opportunity to be in an office in the university work/study program instead of having dining hall duty.    Robin, China
